Coexist with The XX. Warsaw, Poland. My report

Not so long ago, on May 14 in the Polish capital Warsaw was took place the concert of The XX band, favourite and popular among music lovers. That performance took place in the sports and concert complex Torwar. At the opening act for the guys played no less talented english team Mount Kimbie.
“XX” performed songs from their two albums : “xx” and “coexist”, special attention was paid to their last album “coexist”. Actually it was forbidden to bring a camera, but thanks God I was able to take a couple of shots. And I would like to once again thank them for their great live! So have a look at my report from that day.

Musician Portraits Made Of Their Own CDs

The campaign against music piracy agency TBWA Milan and magazine First Floor Under created a series of unusual posters. Portraits of seven world-famous musicians have been posted on their own licensed CD-ROM drive. Imagery of Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Freddie Mercury and Elvis Presley took 6500 disk with the album the musicians. Minimalist Posters Play With Musical Genres

Challenging a group of 13 designers to each create a poster representing one musical genre, the creative people at Edits by Edit gave these simple instructions: use only one element and one typeface (stating the genre). What was created is a stunningly minimalist yet readable series of prints. What makes these posters so unique is despite their pared down simplicity, they truly do feel like the music they represent.
