The largest in human history this week, the rover successfully landed on Mars. Reactive landing platform Sky Crane, hanged over the surface of the Red Planet, gradually lowered rover “Curiosity” wheels down on the nylon rope in the final destination – Gale Crater, where are deep layers the Martian soil, revealing the planet’s geological history. Как здорово, что астронавты на Международной космической станции (настоящие герои) продолжают делиться с нами фотографиями нашей прекрасной планеты. Привилегия наблюдать за нашей планетой из космоса выпадает очень немногим счастливчикам. Однако, благодаря этим фотографиям, мы как будто сами побывали на орбите. За это мы благодарны астронавтам, НАСА и Европейскому космическому агентству. Так что, если вдруг кто-то из их числа читает это – спасибо!
