While there’s a meaning in “creative chaos”, there’s fun in purposeful arrangements, too! And that’s how Emily Blincoe rolls. She loves arrangement things in square shapes, united in theme or color and taking beautiful photographs. They tickle the organized bone in all of us. Autumn leaves, lollipops, colorful cereal, burnt matches – nothing is off-limits.
“I consider myself to be visually sentimental,” Blincoe said. “Photography, for me, is remembering someone or something as it was on a particular day, forever. Of course, I do enjoy giving that moment a little art-direction, and I can’t promise that person won’t be up to their neck in a bush.”
Emily Blincoe comes from Austin, Texas. While her brother had tried to teach her photography, her real love for the subject blossomed when she got her first digital point-and-shoot. Satisfied with the instant gratification of digital photography, she finally felt ready for a DSLR camera in 2009.
