Chaplin Townhouse By Ensemble Architecture DPC

Chaplin Townhouse is another eye-catching venture by the Ensemble Architecture DPC team who renovated this classic townhouse found in Brooklyn‘s Caroll Gardens spot. The space recreated for the new owner who is a travel writer and involved in the redesign process with his suggestions.

The home had been widely renovated ahead of the owner bought the property, and no historical detail remained. Hung ceilings reduced the ceiling height on every single floor, all trim, crowns and doors eliminated. Some layers of linoleum covered the authentic, pine subfloors throughout the residence. The general function was completed to recreate chosen specifics and to substitute or show original finishes. A kitchen was extra to the parlor degree, air conditioning was extra during the house, new windows had been set up throughout, windows in the kitchen converted into doors that lead to a new deck and stair to the backyard. – from Ensemble Architecture DPC
