Stacked Country Hotel In China By Bengo Studio

Shanghai-based architecture practice Bengo Studio has designed the Qiyunshan Tree House, a building composed of stacked timber volumes.
Located in Huang Shan, Anhui Province, China, the country hotel was assembled throughout the spiral staircase joining most of the volumes. It comprises two bedrooms, one living room, two bathrooms and one landscape room, overlooking the nearby woods and located at the top of the structure. However, all the other rooms have access to the roofs as well, supplying the panoramic view and unforgettable experience in nature for the hotel’s guests. The panoramic surroundings are more highlighted by the minimalist interior design – the rooms include white- wooden floors and painted walls matching the exterior cladding, directing the guests’ focus to the nature of the windows.
