New Adidas’s Sneakers Made Entirely From Ocean Trash

German sportswear giant Adidas has designed a prototype of a sustainable new sneaker built almost totally from recycled ocean garbage.
Revealed on June 29, 2015, as part of a recent environmental initiative, the shoe’s upper part made from old fishing nets, discarded yarns, and filaments, plus other ocean waste. The sneakers are the outcome of Adidas’ recent collaboration with Parley For The Oceans, an organization striving to a prevent the pollution of the world’s oceans.
