Born May 17, 1951 in the Netherlands. Being expelled from high school produced focussing on photography potential. Assisted Dutch photographer Ed van der Elsken for one year.
Began his career in 1971 as a fashion photographer and lasted as a commercial photographer in 1981. His first large campaigns came in 1983. Within two years customers, businesses and agencies from throughout the world knew where to find him.
Launched directing movie commercials in 1996.
Travelled America, Asia, Australia and so many other areas.
Works for several international magazines like Conde Nast Traveler, NY Times Magazine, House & Garden etc..
