Fashion Designer Jonathan Saunders is famous for his use of traditional silk screening techniques in a modern context. His prints are colorful and vibrant, bringing an old technique to life with new twists that appeal to the youth generation as well as more mature fashion lovers alike. Examples include bold floral patterns mixed with graphic shapes or flowers on abstract backgrounds which have been given subtle imperfections by hand painting them – they seem so lifelike!
One example is this brilliant print featuring wildflowers like bluebells and primroses against a background made up of light gray scattered dots from transparent paint over deep purple watercolors creating stunning shading effects within the colors themselves while also contrasting nicely against each other because one color has depth but not height whereas another creates both dimensions.
