Martial arts

There are many different types of martial arts that one can practice. Some develop physical health, while others focus more on mental exercises and self-defense; some have religious or spiritual origins while others simply seek to do battle with their opponent in order to win at all costs! The earliest forms go back over 4000 years ago during China’s Xia Dynasty which predates what we know now as “martial” Arts by nearly 3000+ years so there isn’t just one source for this rich history across Asia- surely an indication something interesting was happening then?
