Russian Artist Shows Cartoon Characters With Their Real Age

Cinema gives sort of immortality, saving images for all eternity, and it’s doubly so for cartoon characters. Andrew Tarusov pictured how cartoon characters would look if they were their current age. “Born” in 1940, Tom And Jerry would be in no position to run around that much or to suffer grievous bodily harm. Cranky old Daffy Duck is spot on, too!

Andrew Tarusov is a Russian illustrator currently based in the US. He draws a lot of inspiration from the illustrations of 1950s and 1960s and is a big fan of pinup art. Cartoon characters just so happen to be peers of Tarusov’s inspirations.
