Heartbreaking Infrared Photography from The Congo in the Enclave

Richard Moss is an Irish photographer who is best known for his candy-colored infrared images of conflict in Congo. Over the past decade, Mosse has worked in Iran, Pakistan, Haiti and the former Yugoslavia. But his infrared images from the Democratic Republic of the Congo that caused a stir last year. The Enclave is the culmination of Mosse’s work in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, a place where 5.4 million people have died of war-related causes since 1998(i), yet which often loses visibility and receives little coverage in the mainstream media.
