Moreno Monti and Matteo Tranchellini are Italian photographers with a penchant for chickens. Moreno says that everything started with a photoshoot when together with his friend and work partner Matteo were at a bird show. It then began a project called CHICken. They’ve taken photos of hundreds of chickens to create their first photographic book showcasing the hidden beauty of these animals.
The photographer states: “This work is a tribute to love and diversity because you know, love is love." “They were just themselves and had a natural ability to move in front of the camera. Some of them were photographed from the side, from behind or with only a glance over the shoulder. A NATURAL TALENT” wrote Monti and Tranchellini on their website.
