Now, while it would seem convenient that this procedure could do this – the American Academy of Dermatology has made it known that it’s NOT a qualified treatment by any means. 5.   Age Matters

With many different surgical procedures, it’s easy to assume that age is a determinant factor as to whether an individual can get liposuction or not. To the surprise of many people, hence why it’s a myth, age does not really matter. The determinant factor with this procedure comes down to overall health and well-being. To pass the medical examination – an individual simply needs to prove that their body is in good enough shape to handle the procedure. This includes, but not limited to, mental, physical, and emotional health.
