Muretz’s Quirky Playfull Murals

Expelled from college at age 15, Brazilian artist Muretz chose to make a career doing precisely what got him into trouble in the first position: drawing. Known chiefly for his curved cartoon-like personalities that fill almost every available inch of their walls that they occupy, the bits walk a fine line between lively and funny, bringing a feeling of humor to characters struggling with inner demons. Muretz most recently had a series at Montana Gallery in Barcelona, and you might also catch him on Instagram. A couple of prints can be found here.
