Flynn Matthews This series by Finnish photographer Tiina Törmänen continues her Wanderer job in which she shoots self-portraits underneath the Northern Lights in Finland‘s frigid wilderness. Törmänen started the series while working as a hotel chef in Kilpisjärvi, a distant village in the north of Finland. She’d take off in a snowmobile by the end of her shift scouting wide open landscapes to shoot the perfect picture of her standing underneath the brilliant show of lights. Putting herself in the framework added to the vastness of the landscape and the sense of scale.
