Flynn Matthews An oil spill can cause an unimaginable amount of damage, particularly for animals who are left defenseless. Sadly, last month’s oil spill in Nefteyugansk, Russia was no different, and two kitties got caught in the fray. When Anatoly Tuptey saw these struggling animals, he immediately jumped into action.
“My soul could not stand the cries, I went to see,” he explained The Siberian Times. “You never know what is going on, I had to check.”
After paddling into the oil to save the kittens, Tuptey used his t-shirt to dry them off and keep them warm. He then took them home so that they could be washed and fed.
