Riddler

The Riddler is a fictional character, a comic book supervillain appearing in comics published by DC Comics. He usually appears as an enemy of Batman and has been created many times throughout the years but there are 3 main versions; The Golden Age version from 1942-1957 who was originally named Edward Nashton before changing his name to include “The Riddler” after being inspired by one of Sherlock Holmes‘ antagonists, the Silver Age Version which ran 1964-1985 where he took on different aesthetics like 1960s mod clothing and 1980’s punk rocker clothes with green hair slicked back into curls and finally Rebirth 2013 onwards where he became more intellectual than physical while still retaining some characteristics such as purple gloves that can create riddles or puzzles for others to solve.
