Adam Hillman is an artist best known for his Arrangement series, which uses everyday objects like clothing and food to create intricately detailed patterns. His work was initially abstract before he started using photographs from mobile phones in the 2000s.
Hillman’s works are built on optical illusion and the vibrancy of colour. Objects placed in aesthetically rigorous patterns make for compelling compositions and are informed by American abstractionists like Piet Mondrian.
