Designer: Vertu

The AlphaFold, a reskinned Nubia Fold, isn’t boasting cutting-edge specifications, yet it fits right into a jet-setter’s luxury arsenal. Its core attraction lies in its sophisticated AI, known as the Hermes Agent, designed for business efficiency. This AI not only helps streamline workflows and manage schedules but also interacts smoothly with famous apps like Google, Facebook, and WhatsApp, integrating business tools into one personal dashboard. According to Vertu, its A5 security chip ensures that your sensitive data stays local and secure.

Tailored for business elites
The AI’s prowess extends to seamlessly integrating with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, offering a consolidated view of business activities. With additional concierge services, Vertu enables users to organize elite experiences, such as booking private jets or accessing exclusive events, alongside the AI’s functionalities.

Exquisite hardware and luxurious details
The AlphaFold boasts an 8.05-inch creaseless folding display with a 120Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 6.53-inch external screen—all using LTPO OLED technology. It’s armored with a titanium and carbon fiber hinge, promising durability with up to 650,000 folds. Though powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 4 processor, it’s matched with 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage, offering ample power but not the latest chipset. Camera-wise, it sports a triple-lens setup: a 50-MP primary sensor, a 50-MP ultrawide, and a 5-MP telephoto lens, alongside a 20-MP selfie camera.

The back panel craftsmanship speaks of luxury, with pricing varying according to finishes—from Calfskin at $6,880 to Italian alligator leather from $8,880 to $13,800. For those willing to spend over $46,880, there are versions with Himalaya Gold IV or diamond inserts. Regardless of your choice, each iteration of the AlphaFold is a testament to both tech and luxury, ready for global pre-orders.
