These hyperrealistic sculptures weave petals, leaves, and seeds into new kinds of bugs. But here’s the catch– none of the pieces made from nature. This is handicraft work.
Created by Japanese artist Hiroshi Shinno, these insects take hours of meticulous work. Every petal, leaf, and limb were formed from resin and decorated by hand.
Everything was built especially for the particular insects.
Shinno’s meticulous attention to detail and taste for the incredible make a killer combination when it comes to hyperrealistic art. See more of his work here.
