Bane (comics)

Bane is a fictional character, the main antagonist of Batman and one of its most memorable villains. Bane has been credited for being able to defeat Batman after many other have tried unsuccessfully. His origin was in comic books published by DC comics where he made his debut appearance on January 1993 as created by Chuck Dixon Doug Moench and Graham Nolan. IGN’s list ranked him #34 out 100 Comic Book Villains of All Time who had an interesting background story that resulted from experiments with venom which caused more aggressive behavior making him stronger but also led to eventual blindness.
