Born out of her deep love for the ocean, Mary Parkhill specializes in photographing marine life. Her true passion is documenting Humpback Whales in Alaska and sharing these moments with people all around the world through photography.
She has a unique way to capture their sheer size while still giving enough focus on individual features such as skin folds or markings that distinguish each animal from many others like it across both hemispheres. A self-defined “ocean person” at heart, she spent years exploring nature where ever she could find it before deciding to try professional wildlife photography.
