Mazovia or Masovia is a geographical, historical and cultural region in east-central Poland. It is also a voivodeship (an administrative region) in Poland. Borders of the Masovian Voivodeship, which was created in 1998, do not reflect historical shape of the province. Łomża, which is a Masovian city, is now located in Podlasie Voivodeship, while both Radom and Siedlce, even though part of historical Lesser Poland, belong to Masovian Voivodeship.
