Samil Demirel

Şamil Demirel is a Turkish designer who integrates lumber and material to make magnificent light fixtures that resemble little parts of the ocean. The artist stated that he got involved in wood carving around six years back, at the first beginning, by making lockets, small sculptures, and medium-sized ornamental items. Upon the suggestion of a close friend, Şamil included plastic resin to a few of the necklaces he had been making, and after seeing numerous successful examples of resin art on the net, he began incorporating it with a few of his sculptures and other sculpted items.
