Fashion photographer Erik Madigan Heck shot a beautiful editorial for Junya Watanabe‘s Fall 2015 collection, which first appeared in New York Magazine. The photographs feature the sculptural design pieces with bold and geometric forms in a basic setting. In a statement about the concept, Heck says, “The photographs blur the line between photography and handmade paper cut-outs, helping to distance the designer’s creations further from the three-dimensional reality they aim to reject”. His work has been published in The New York Times Magazine and Harper’s Bazaar UK among others.
