A striking photograph of a diver swimming toward a massive school of fish has been crowned the winner of the 5th annual ColorPro Awards. Hosted by ViewSonic, a global leader in visual solutions, this year’s competition centered on the theme of “momentum.” Benjamin Yavar’s award-winning photo, Wormhole, took the top spot in the photography category for its stunning depiction of motion and energy.
The ColorPro Awards celebrate creative brilliance and storytelling across various mediums, extending beyond photography. The competition also recognized videography, digital art, and generative art, highlighting the impact of visuals—even AI-generated ones—in evoking powerful emotions.
The videography category was won by the short film Essence of Color, an artistic exploration of self-discovery featuring dynamic visuals and evolving compositions. In the digital art category, António Montanha from Portugal earned top honors for a captivating piece of a vibrant yellow dragonfly resting on a pink hibiscus.
For generative art, the People’s Choice award went to Gilang Ramadhan for a lifelike image of a surfer serenely sitting as a wave curls dramatically around them. This piece was praised for its ability to “symbolize resilience against nature’s might.”
