Artist Cari Vander Yacht is making us want to dig through our old shoeboxes full of forgotten family snapshots. The Amsterdam-based artist takes fifty-year-old photographs found in thrift shops in her Portland hometown and animates them into ridiculous GIFs in a series called TGIMGIF (Thank God It’s Monday Graphic Interchange Format).
