Geometric Wooden Portraits by ‘Strook’

Operating with recycled wood doors and paneling picked from old houses, Belgian artist Stefaan De Croock aka Strook creates both large geometric portraits. Each work is created exclusively using various scraps of cut wood which he combines and resembles to form a sort of color palette. He also designs similar works on canvas.

Strook’s most recent piece was a massive wooden assemblage for the Crystal Ship, a new art festival in Ostend, Belgium now in its second year.
