The workspace layout fosters connectivity among diverse communities within Marina de Empresas, uniting EDEM students, startups from Lanzadera, and Angels-backed enterprises. This innovation center emphasizes a studio’s Workplace methodology, providing open, adaptable settings ranging from individual booths to spacious meeting rooms. Each floor features ‘plazas’—communal spaces offering outdoor access for informal gatherings. Spacious double-height areas on the ground level enhance openness, while internal courtyards draw natural light within.
Harbor Views and Architectural Harmony
The building’s facade seamlessly integrates with its harbor surroundings, offering vistas of the port and historic landmarks like the Aduana and the Clock Building. The design incorporates horizontally louvered GRP panels, inspired by naval construction, to regulate solar exposure while imparting a rhythmic aesthetic that complements the existing structures.
