Redefining a Classic Spanish Villa
In the heart of Dubai, D’Ora Tokai Designs has reimagined a traditional Spanish-style villa, creating a light-filled family home named The White Arcade. This remarkable example of innovative renovation serves a global executive and her three children. It is characterized by a harmonious blend of whites, warm neutrals, and sculptural forms, replacing the original dark and enclosed spaces.
A Sculptural Welcome
The entrance introduces the villa’s new aesthetic with a cream console featuring a cylindrical top and three substantial legs. An oversized mirror with an irregular, gently curved frame complements this, while light oak herringbone flooring provides a warm base for the predominantly white interior.

Subtle Elegance: Disguised Practicality
Behind what appears to be traditional paneling, a cleverly concealed coat room emerges. Bifold doors, flush with the wall detailing, open to a functional space with warm wood lining, an L-shaped bench, and paneled drawers. Simple brass hooks and open shelves maximize the utility of this compact area, revealing the thoughtful integration of style and function throughout the villa. This villa renovation focuses on practicality without compromising the luxurious feel.
