Artist Shows How Our Daily Routine Is Killing The Planet

Most people agree that pollution is the dangerous thing destroying the planet. These illustrations by Eglė Plytnikaitė reveal how even our everyday routine hurts the Earth. Plastic from the bottles of water and coke end up polluting the oceans; cows that give us milk and meat pollute the atmosphere, and the list goes on.

“We are used to like our comfortable daily routine without even thinking how much does it cost to the planet,” she wrote on Bored Panda. “Unfortunately, destroying the planet means destroying ourselves, so the joke is on us – all the droughts, floods and extreme water and air pollution is our responsibility.”

Eglė Plytnikaitė is a Vilnius-based artist, who worked in sustainable architecture before starting a career as an illustrator.
