NewYork City based artist Nicolas V. Sanchez creates masterful drawings with just the assistance of a couple of ballpoint pens, which makes amazingly realistic portraits and still lifes in his several sketchbooks. As a consequence of his exact application of shadows and highlights, a number of his works look three-dimensional, like the fruit bowl found under which appears put on the webpage rather than attracted.
Sanchez is also a talented painter, working with acrylic to make fuzzy familial scenes on linen or canvas. You can view more of his sketchbook-based ink drawings, and navigate his own collection of paintings, even on his Instagram and Facebook.
