Jean Mckean Based in Los Angeles, California, Kaining Wang is a Chinese concept artist who creates stories and builds characters using vibrant color, expressive lines and exaggerate shapes. Bridging reality and fantasy together, her fantastical illustrations and world-building are often inspired by mythologies/folktales, current social events, and her personal experiences. She has achieved a great number of industry awards including recognition from the Society of Illustrators West; Concept Art Award; Creative Quarterly; Ijungle Illustration; Infected by Art; Communication Arts. She has worked as background painter for Solar Opposites Season, as a visual development artist at Warner Brothers, and is currently a concept designer at Meta, where she works on Horizon Worlds.
