Artist Uses Her Lips as a Canvas for Detailed Works of Art

Artist Andrea Reed looks to her lips to start an unusual project. The artist applies makeup to her first canvas, transforming her lips into elaborate works of art. Lately, Reed has even drawn inspiration from and sought to replicate an actual work: Katsushika Hokusai's Great Wave Off Kanagawa. With her makeup palettes and specific brushes before her, Reed can paint highly dramatic shapes and figures with fine lines upon her lips, which are then shaded in with pulsing colors.

Also, to the inspirational muses she finds through the study of art history, the creative is also compelled to recreate patterns she faces in nature, and she seems to enjoy coming up with her very own designs, too.
