There’s Life Out There: The Artist Sending Bonsai Trees Into Space

Tokyo based artist Makoto Azuma in collaboration with JP Aerospace and a team of ten people sent Japanese white pine bonsai tree into the stratosphere. Azuma Makoto used brightly colored flowers from around the world to contrast against the ‘darkness of space’. This mission is called Exobiotanica.
