There are particular problems with overusing technology, but artist Antoine Geiger believes phones are almost completely soul-sucking. His project titled ‘Sur-Fake‘ exposes people with faces that are being literally sucked in by mobile phones like they were tiny Dementors or Necromongers.
“It is placing the screen as an object of “mass subculture”, alienating the relation to our body, and more generally to the physical world,” he writes on the project website.
Antoine Geiger is a young French artist who already has four exhibitions to his name.
