Anyone can travel around America with a camera and come back with photographs, but some of them can return with a selection of photos that captures the spirit of such a vast amount of land.
And Jack Davison is one of them. English photographer has travelled across 26 States of America to take gorgeous portraits of people and cities, usually in black and white. With a unique sense of composition and refined grain, he adds bizarre themes by juxtaposing eyes on hands or by obliterating faces, in an intellectual way.
