Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti, who previously photographed children and their toys, has a fascinating new series called ‘Couchsurfing’ in which he captures intimate portraits of his hosts on his couchsurfing travels. For the uninitiated, Couchsurfing is a global network that connects millions of travelers around the world to foster the spirit of community, and enable sharing of experiences among different cultures. A couchsurfer who has hosted dozens of travelers in his Tuscany home, Galimberti spent over a year visiting all five continents, and his series documents the stories of the hosts he stayed with.
