On a new trip to Antarctica, photographer Julieanne Kost contributed some time weaving in-between icebergs around Black Head, Cuverville Island, and Pleneau Bay, donating her time aboard a zodiac boat in order to feel the excellence of the continent’s blue ice at eye level. Her photographs exhibit the intense degrees of blue peeking out from within the icebergs, wavy patterns in the outer layers exposing dark blue centers.
