The Magic Of Tokyo Streets At Night By Masashi Wakui

For Masashi Wakui, the night is the time to get out and take pictures of the nocturnal Japan. Camera in hand, he goes out into the shaded streets of Shibuya, Shinjyuku and other areas of Tokyo. What we get to see is narrow alleys and streets, so fair to Japan, pushing back against the night with a myriad of lanterns, ads, and restaurant signs.

Masashi Wakui uses high-performance cameras to take the pictures, then adjusts the colors for the wanted effect – though as I can tell from experience, it’s not far from the truth!
