Brooklyn-based photographer Thomas Prior has taken a variety of topics over the previous decades, which explains why he recently made a decision to concentrate on photographing his participants in the activity. Thomas’s function is documentary in style, each shot telling a narrative, after his fascination in dangerous recreation along with his eye for the offbeat.
Looking for the absurd or incongruous detail in every circumstance, Thomas shows the sudden beauty and humor in everyday life. Among other jobs, the very popular show include shots of this community which thrives in Willets Point, New York, a fireworks festival in Mexico in addition to marginal communities in Rwanda. The most interesting thing about his job is that he assembles a simple relationship with his topics, demonstrating an interested interest and ardent enthusiasm for what is happening around him. Relying almost entirely on natural illumination, Prior has an excellent eye to catch uncanny pictures in unexpected places.
