Photorealistic Paintings by Roberto Bernardi

by Sam Johnson 2013-01-12, 2:07 PMupdated 2020-09-04, 8:47 PM

Roberto Bernardi was born in 1974 in Todi, Italy. His first works date from the mid eighties, and whilst a young student he dedicated himself to the study of Renaissance painting and pictorial technique.  In 19 years, became interested in hyperrealism. Bernardi’s paintings have morphed from the dramatic, traditional, classical still lifes so obviously influenced by his Italian heritage to the startling, post-modern imagery he is painting today.
