Japanese architect and designer Yusuke Oono has just started an interesting series of 360-degree books that open up to reveal three-dimensional stories inside. Kicking off with two titles, they’re available as Snow White and Mount Fuji.
Oono first came up with the plan for these unusual books during a YouFab design competition, but his first design was too complex and therefore too labour intense to turn into a reality – despite loads of interest across the world. However, operating with Loftwork, who formerly sponsored the contest, and publisher Seigensha, he has now been able to produce the books for sale.
