The resin is like your common shortcut to make your amber inclusion-like jewelry without the wait times of millions of years. Sarah Smith, the artist, and the owner of Modern Flower Child store, profits on that with her sweet bangles and bracelets. From flowers to bits of moss – all ended up frozen in resin and sold on Etsy.
“The jewelry I make is entirely handmade. From design to splashing resin, curing, to shaping the piece, it can take roughly 2-3 weeks to complete one piece. Because each piece is made by hand and not a machine, tiny bubbles, bumps and slight flaws are part of the unique characteristics of the jewelry.”
