Leandro Erlich built a sandy traffic jam on the Miami beach

In time for Miami Art Week 2019 Argentinian artist Leandro Erlich built his largest work, a life-size traffic jam made of sand.
The installation features 66 sculptures of cars and trucks, forming together a 21st-century traffic jam. Replicas of sand symbolize harsh and rigid modernity that is the opposite of the material from which they are made. Sand sculptures will be there for 15 days until they are completely degraded.
