Arkadiusz Andrejkow is a Polish artist who created the “Silent Memorial” is a street art project from 2017, which was born during many trips around Polish cities by the artist. The artist says, “observing subsequent villages, I noticed considerable painting potential in old barns and sheds. I thought that they could be such an excellent outdoor and rural street art gallery. The walls of wooden barns were ideally prepared painting bases for me. Due to their rawness and lack of undercoat, they were practically ready to get to work.”
During the implementation, Andrejkow used old family photographs from the places where the mural was created.
