The 2021 International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition winners have just been announced, and they are stunning. The eighth annual contest received over 4,500 entries from photographers worldwide. The top photos capture stunning vistas and events worldwide, including auroras dancing over Iceland and comets streaking across Mount Tamalpais.

The impressive list of amazing natural wonders includes such phenomena as the mystical trees at Alcornocales Natural Park in Cadiz, the fairytale-like blooms of Vallée de la Clarée in France, and a wildlife fire in Yosemite National Park looking more like a sunset on the horizon than a vast flame.
