Fluid Design and Innovative Architecture
Conceived by MAD Architects, this 46,500-square-meter marvel draws inspiration from the invisible currents that birth clouds. The museum’s fluid, silver form seemingly floats over tranquil reflecting pools, embodying a futuristic yet organic aesthetic.

Seamless Exterior and Spiraling Interiors
The structure boasts 843 uniquely crafted panels, forming a continuous shell that plays with light and shadows. Inside, a spiraling path leads visitors through immersive exhibits on space, oceans, ecosystems, and technology, illuminated by a central skylight that invites natural light into the heart of the museum.
Eschewing traditional rooms, the museum encourages a flowing exploration. Guests choose their journey, starting from earth transitioning to sky, or from the cosmos descending to the coast.
More Than Just Exhibits
Beyond galleries, the venue features a planetarium, a giant-screen theater, and expansive outdoor learning areas, cementing its status as one of China’s most ambitious science attractions.
In typical MAD fashion, this project transcends mere architecture, blending with the landscape and fostering a narrative that is as imaginative as it is harmonious with its surroundings.
