Designed by Studiopepe, this exhibition reimagined domestic spaces with a focus on sustainability and technological innovation. Reflecting themes akin to the works of notable designers like Philippe Starck and Patricia Urquiola, this showcase explored how modern designers draw on diverse inspirations. In an Philippe Starck stated in an interview with ArchDaily, creativity should enhance human experiences by striving to improve life for the wider community.
Transformative exhibition design

Studiopepe co-founders, Arianna Lelli Mami and Chiara Di Pinto, envisioned the project as a “house within a house,” blending the past’s rigidity with present-day fluidity. Organic geometries defined this layout, where each atmosphere—from living areas to transitional spaces—formed a unified spatial narrative.
An exploration of space and materials

Throughout the installation, Studiopepe applied a controlled palette featuring dark brown and chocolate tones, accented by pastel green and acid yellow. Integrated lighting enhanced these elements, emphasizing each space’s unique textures and materials.
A cohesive living system
The exhibition showcased contributions from a roster of Spanish design brands such as Agora, Alexandra, and Ape Group, integrated into the environment rather than standing alone. This cohesive approach highlighted Appartamento Spagnolo‘s use of “reversible architecture,” blending architecture, interior design, and product display into a unified, breathable system.
