Street artists started drawing on the walls of the Long Beach Museum of Art on June 26th of this year. The project, named “Vitality and Verve: Transforming the Urban Landscape,” will feature a picked group of artists that are either exploring urban art outside of the studio or are considering about taking up the studio instead of the street.
“Most of the works in this exhibition will be created on our gallery walls using both traditional and non-traditional art media,” tells Ron Nelson, Executive Director of the Long Beach Museum of Art. “Once the exhibition ends, the walls will be repainted and prepared for the next exhibition. Therefore, it is necessary for art enthusiasts to see this marvelous exhibition before it closes.”
The exhibit will start on September 27, 2015.
